He brings new insights into the importance of building a Personal Brand. With his experience and taking on different positions during his career, he has drawn for himself a lot of useful knowledge that can support students on the journey to building a Personal Brand.
“When building a Personal Brand, we need to pay attention to four main things: Understanding our strengths, weaknesses, and core values, identifying the right target audience, and choosing the proper channels to show your worth, always have the spirit of being willing to give away your knowledge and help others, and always put extra effort into what you do "- Mr. Tien shared.
Besides, he also emphasized that, in the process of working, "Always ask for feedback because this will help us reflect on ourselves, recognize our strengths and weaknesses" to enhance ourselves into a better version
At the end of his post, he mentioned a quote that he really liked "If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done" - Thomas Jefferson with the desire students is always proactive and willing to experience participating in doing things we've never done, and having something we've never had.

The event's second speaker was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duy - Client Success Management at ANPHABE with the second topic, "What can LinkedIn support for students on the path to building a Personal Brand and looking for jobs.” As a Client Success Consultant, managing the partnership of LinkedIn, he has brought students beneficial knowledge and sharing to have an overview of LinkedIn and how to use LinkedIn to attract employers.
For him, LinkedIn is a place to help others understand their professional perspective and who they are in the eyes of employers. He emphasized, "Currently on LinkedIn, there are more than 850 (most updated data) million profiles, and this number continues to increase," so he wants students to be more proactive so as not to be "A dot in the small of these 850 million records.”
Besides, he also noted that “We must have a clear distinction between a resume and a personal profile. Because a personal profile is a place to tell stories about your experiences and what you can do and let employers and partners know who you are. Therefore, don't just use a resume and say it's your personal profile.”
